International Quilt Festival (Houston)

International Quilt Festival, the largest annual quilt show in the U.S., fills the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston with more than 1,400 quilts and unique works of textile art. Shoppers browse more than 500 booths of quilts, fabric, supplies and crafts, and 275 classes and lectures serve all experience levels, with classes starting before the show opens. Quilts, Inc., whose founder and CEO Karey Bresenhan is a member of the Quilter's Hall of Fame, has run the festival since 1975, and it regularly attracts more than 35,000 attendees from over 30 countries.
