About this event
Wild West Songwriters Festival in Deadwood puts national hit songwriters in writer's rounds around the historic town, produced with the Deadwood Chamber and Visitors Bureau and Deadwood Mountain Grand. A regional contest sends 14 writers into national rounds, with the winner invited to perform during Wild Bill Days. Saturday night's Songwriters' Showcase at Deadwood Mountain Grand is the finale. Rounds start at noon each day around town, and Art of Song events add smaller, more intimate sessions.
Our take: Catch a writer's round in town before you decide on the Saturday showcase at Deadwood Mountain Grand.
Good to know
Performances start at noon. The showcase is at Deadwood Mountain Grand.
