About this event
Hello Neighbor's Craft Bazaar at the Carnegie Museum of Art celebrates the creativity, entrepreneurship and cultural traditions of Pittsburgh's refugee and immigrant communities. It was inspired by the Silät weavers collective, whose work appears in the 59th Carnegie International. Shoppers can meet local artisans and browse handmade goods, artwork and crafts. In the museum's Art Theater, photographs by youth in Hello Neighbor's Study Buddy Program are shown with archival materials on refugee experiences in the city across nearly ninety years.
Our take: The Glenshaw Century Club's Holiday House Tour & Craft Fair is the same Saturday, so craft shoppers can pair the museum bazaar with the Glenshaw fair in one day.
