About this event
Philadelphia's Jingle Bell Run fills the Marine Parade Grounds at the Navy Yard on South Broad Street. Before the 5K there are festive contests, including Jolliest Jingler, Team Spirit and Strut Your Mutt, plus a Reindeer Dash for kids under 12. After the run, placement awards go to the top three male, female and non-binary finishers in each age group for the timed 5K, alongside contest and raffle winners. Participants receive jingle bells and a medal, and early registrants are guaranteed a shirt.
Our take: Bring the dog in costume for Strut Your Mutt, one of the pre-race contests.
Parking
Free parking in the Ensemble lot at 1 Crescent Drive and on Navy Yard streets and lots not marked reserved or private.
