Portland Book Festival

Portland Book Festival, presented by Literary Arts, is billed as the largest book festival in the Pacific Northwest, and its main festival day is the week's largest gathering of readers, writers and storytellers. More than 100 local, regional and nationally acclaimed authors appear across 10 stages in southwest Portland, from outdoor venues on the South Park Blocks to the Portland Art Museum, which hosts pop-up events in its galleries and the book and exhibitor fair in its Mark Building, plus Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Hatfield Hall, The Judy Kafoury Center, The Old Church and Shemanski Park. Workshops, writing classes and pop-up readings fill the day, and partner dinners, music and late-night cocktails at the Book Bar run across the week.
