About this event
Making Strides of Long Island, presented by Teachers Federal Credit Union, is one of the American Cancer Society's breast cancer walks, held at Jones Beach State Park. Teams of walkers and local companies raise money for breast cancer research and patient support, and participants can dedicate tributes and luminaria to people they've lost or are walking for. The walk happens rain or shine.
