About this event
The Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce fills Center Street in the Village of Lewiston with a weekend of holiday events that draws thousands of visitors. Recent editions have opened with a tree lighting at the Alphonso I. DiMino Memorial Band Shell in Academy Park with local dance and music performances, followed by Santa's arrival, complimentary carriage rides, a letters-to-Santa mailbox and shopping and dining deals from village businesses. The weekend wraps up with a lights parade down Center Street.
Our take: Save the final evening for the lights parade, which closes out the weekend on Center Street.
