About this event
The Democracy Cycle Festival at the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) at the World Trade Center grows out of PAC NYC's program commissioning 25 new works of theater, dance, music, opera and multidisciplinary performance that explore democracy. Artists, audiences, civic leaders and communities gather for performances alongside free, open-to-the-public events: a keynote speaker, work-in-progress readings of commissions in development, panels and free musical performances, including sets by Paul Pinto and Sofía Rei.
Our take: Plan dinner at Metropolis, Marcus Samuelsson's restaurant inside the building, whose lobby lounge also hosts free programming.
