About this event
BRIC JazzFest returns to BRIC House in Downtown Brooklyn for two nights across three stages: the Stoop, the Ballroom and the Artist Studio. Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra lead a tribute to Randy Weston, and headliners include Bilal, Tyreek McDole, Takuya Kuroda and Mohini Dey, alongside Braxton Cook, Marcus Gilmore, Melvis Santa, Salin, Laura Anglade and Sparklmami. Next Gen Jazz curates the VIP Lounge, and Toribio & Bring Dat Jazz Orchestra close the festival with an after-hours dance party.
Our take: Sets run at the same time across all three rooms, so check the performance times and map out which artists you want to catch each night.
Good to know
The festival runs 6 p.m.–midnight Friday and 6 p.m.–3 a.m. Saturday.
