About this event

Uptown Farmers Market is a 501(c)(3) Saturday market at 300 S. Davidson Street in Charlotte, in the front parking lot of First Baptist Charlotte. Its mission is to gather neighbors around locally grown food, support farmers and food artisans, teach healthy eating, and cut food insecurity. The 2026 calendar splits a winter market and a spring market. The Community Table Fund buys produce left at the end of each market and gives it to Nourish Up and Roof Above's SABER recovery program; Harvest Haul volunteers deliver it, and more than 4.4 tons of fruit and vegetables were donated in 2024. Shoppers can also drop extra produce in the red and blue bins. Pepper Apparel Co sells market merchandise at its tent.

Our take: Buy a little extra produce and drop it in the red and blue bins if you want to feed the Community Table donations.

Parking

Free parking in the 4.5-acre front lot of First Baptist Charlotte at 300 S. Davidson Street.
