Gingerbread Wonderland at Norway House

Gingerbread Wonderland turns Norway House, the Nordic cultural center in Minneapolis's Ventura Village neighborhood a few blocks south of U.S. Bank Stadium, into a community-built gingerbread town. Over the years it has shown more than 2,200 creations, including gingerbread houses, castles, Minnesota landmarks and pop-culture builds, made by professional and amateur bakers from around town and across the globe. Entries are judged on creativity and originality, among other things.

Our take: Enter a build of your own: registration is open to bakers of every age and skill level, and Norwegian heritage is not required.
