About this event
Julmarknad brings a Swedish holiday market to the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, celebrating slöjd, the Swedish tradition of handcraft, with more than 60 local artists selling handmade goods. Over a weekend it is one of the region's largest handcraft markets and holiday festivals, with pop-up musical performances, family crafts, storytime, festive foods and shopping at the ASI Museum Store and Jul Shop. Visitors can also tour ASI's holiday exhibition in the Turnblad Mansion.
Our take: Go to the Friday preview party for first pick of the handcrafted wares, or Sunday for the extra family activities.
