About this event
Augsburg University's Homecoming brings alumni and students back to the Minneapolis campus for a weekend honoring 100 years of Augsburg athletics. The schedule includes the Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony, the Distinguished Alumni Awards, a 50th reunion, chapel services and an alumni picnic, plus soccer, an exhibition women's hockey game and the Homecoming football game against Macalester at Edor Nelson Field. A Music Showcase and Reception in Hoversten Chapel closes the weekend.
Our take: Saturday's Taste of Augsburg on the Quad, with a DJ, the Pep Band and the coronation results, runs 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., overlapping the noon kickoff against Macalester.
