About this event
Wild Lights fills the Detroit Zoo with millions of LED lights and more than 500 animal- and nature-themed displays, a metro Detroit holiday tradition. A Glow-with-the-Show lanyard (sold separately) unlocks interactive Glow Zones that sync with the lights around you. The current season lights the eastern part of the Fred & Barbara Erb Discovery Trails, with a giant light-bright wall, glowing swings and a light-up teeter-totter, and adds new illuminated sculptures of a snow leopard, red pandas and a Bengal tiger.
Our take: Go on a Friday or Saturday, when the gates stay open later and the 21+ Igloo lounge has fire pits and live music.
Parking
$8 per vehicle
