Writers, poets, and illustrators from Maine and beyond gather for Maine Lit Fest, a statewide run of conversations, workshops, and readings. Sessions land in Brunswick, Farmington, Lewiston, Northeast Harbor, Portland, Presque Isle, Rockport, Scarborough, and Waterville. A kids' literature book fair at Portland Public Library sits beside author evenings, a workshop day in Waterville, and talks on rural writing, book bans, and nature narratives.
