The Portland Farmers' Market has been feeding Portland, Maine since 1768. Outdoor markets fill Deering Oaks Park on Saturdays and Wednesdays, and an indoor winter market runs at 631 Stevens Ave. Shoppers will find local foods from Maine farmers through the season. SNAP/EBT users start at the Market Information Booth, where purchases are matched with Maine Harvest Bucks tokens for fruits, vegetables, and food-bearing seedlings. The same booth handles market goods such as tote bags, aprons, and stickers, Friends of the Market sign-ups, and questions.
