About this event
Acadia's Oktoberfest is held at Archie's Lobster, 90 Tremont Rd. in Tremont, on the "Quietside" of Mount Desert Island near Bass Harbor. Billed as the longest-running Oktoberfest in Maine, it brings Maine brewers pouring their beers, food vendors, stein hoisting and keg tossing. The 29th annual Oktoberfest is Saturday, October 10, from noon to 5 p.m.
Our take: Designated drivers get in for $10 instead of the $35 general ticket.
