About this event
The Shepherd's Staff holds the Carroll County Festival of Trees at John Street Quarters in downtown Westminster, timed with the city's holiday celebrations. Decorated holiday trees go to a silent auction, with virtual bidding and Buy Now options, while local choirs and school groups perform on Friday and Saturday. Artisan gifts and cash-and-carry holiday items fill out the room. It is the largest fundraiser for The Shepherd's Staff's emergency help for Carroll County families in crisis, and the venue itself supports the Westminster Volunteer Fire Department.
Our take: Leave room for the fresh-baked goods sold on site; they make easy hostess gifts.
