About this event
The Maryland Irish Festival, presented by Irish Charities of Maryland, is an indoor celebration of Irish culture in the Cow Palace building at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. It features local, regional and international Irish music, Irish dancers, traditional cuisine, cultural exhibits and workshops, and a wide variety of vendors of Irish and Celtic goods for early Christmas shopping. The entertainers include Screaming Orphans, Barleyjuice, Seamus Kennedy and the Teelin Irish Dance Company, and the weekend adds whiskey tastings, a traditional Irish breakfast and a Catholic Mass on Sunday.
