About this event
Falmouth Holidays by the Sea Weekend ties Woods Hole, Nobska Point, Falmouth Harbor, and Falmouth Village into one holiday stretch. Caroling led by the Solstice Singers starts at Waterfront Park on Water Street, and a trolley from the Candle House at 127 Water Street is the only way to the Nobska Lighthouse Holiday Open House for photos with Mrs. Claus, holiday music, and cocoa and cookies. Seafaring Santa sails into Falmouth Harbor near the Band Shell on Scranton Avenue with the Falmouth High School Chorus. The parade steps off from Dillingham Avenue and Davis Straits and follows Main Street to the Village Green, and the weekend also brings a Main Street stroll with Dickens Carolers and the Village Green lighting. All of it is held rain or shine.
Our take: Skip driving to Nobska; the open house is trolley-only from the Candle House at 127 Water Street, with no public parking on site.
