Morgan City Christmas Parade & Movie Night in the Park

Morgan City, on the Atchafalaya River between New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette, rolls out its Christmas parade through downtown in the evening. The route starts at Belanger and Second Street, runs down Second to Everett, loops around Lawrence Park and heads down Third Street before ending under the bridge. As soon as the last float passes, the city hosts Movie Night in the Park.

Our take: Watch from near Lawrence Park so you are already in place for the movie when the parade ends.
