About this event
The Covington Three Rivers Art Festival is a carefully juried event of 200 artists that takes over several city blocks of Columbia Street in Covington's Cultural Arts District. Works in every medium line both sides of the street, from ceramics, paintings and photography to fiber art, woodworking, metalwork, sculptures and jewelry, by artists from all over the United States, including many from the Greater New Orleans region. One of the Northshore's largest annual events, it typically draws more than 60,000 people, and a Children's Village opens each morning alongside the booths.
Our take: Stay into Saturday evening for music at 5:15 p.m., the artist awards at 5:30 p.m. and more music at 7 p.m.
Good to know
10am–5pm both days; Sunday student art awards 3pm at the Covington Trailhead.
