About this event
The Christmas Spectacular brings Vince Vance and the Valiants to the Slidell Municipal Auditorium as part of the City of Slidell's free cultural season. The band is known for high-energy shows that blend country, pop and rock 'n' roll with costume changes, comic skits and vaudeville flair. Their holiday single "All I Want for Christmas Is You" has charted on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart six times, they also recorded the post-Katrina anthem "I Am New Orleans," and Vance was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
Our take: Come early for the Krewe of Kringle golf cart parade through Olde Towne, then head to the auditorium for the show.
Good to know
Free; recent shows have had first-come, first-served seating.
