About this event
Bayou Jam is the City of Slidell's long-running free concert series, held in the evenings at Heritage Park. The fall lineup includes the New Orleans funk band Flow Tribe, fiddler Amanda Shaw and the Cute Guys, and Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos, the series' first piano-bar show. It closes with a Veterans Day concert by the Northshore Community Orchestra at the Slidell Municipal Auditorium.
Our take: Bring lawn chairs or blankets for Heritage Park; food and drinks are sold on site.
Good to know
Heritage Park concerts 5–7 p.m.; the Veterans Day concert at the Municipal Auditorium starts at 4 p.m. (doors 3:30). All concerts are free.
