About this event
Wichita's Jingle Bell Run is held at Botanica on Amidon Street, where the morning opens with pictures with Santa and characters, a kids craft area and a silent auction, followed by a Run With the Elves for little ones and then the 5K and 1-mile start. The Wagonmasters appear after the race, and the auction closes with the post-race awards. Honorees include rheumatologist Dr. Brannon Donovan, physical therapist Gabriel Chavez, and Julie Couch, who won her age group at the race three years ago before illness stopped her running.
Our take: Come early: Santa photos and the kids craft area start well before the run, and the silent auction stays open until the post-race awards.
Parking
All participants enter through the South Gate and use the River Edge parking lot.
