About this event
For more than six decades, Kāneʻohe has transformed into Christmas town for its community Christmas parade, which welcomes participants, volunteers and spectators alike. The morning parade runs from Windward Mall along Kamehameha Highway before turning onto Kāneʻohe Bay Drive and finishing at Castle High School, with each year built around a theme. The parade's limited-edition T-shirt is a coveted keepsake.
Our take: If you need to get anywhere that morning, leave early, because the route along Kamehameha Highway fills with sidewalk spectators.
