About this event
Cress Creeks is a sheep farm and event center at 4708 Boardtown Rd in Ellijay, and the fall corn maze is the seasonal draw. The maze takes about 40 minutes to an hour, with clues placed to track progress, and there are no lights in the field. Tickets also cover a barrel train around the maze, lawn bowling, bean bag toss, and other outdoor games, and the farm suggests about two hours to see it all. Guests can feed and mingle with the sheep herd. A baby-lamb hayride can be added, and the store sells lamb, beef, pork, and eggs, with light concessions on site.
Our take: Plan on about two hours so you can finish the maze and still feed the sheep.
Parking
Pets allowed on a short leash with cleanup bags; pets in the maze need a ticket. No outside food or drink. Cash and card accepted. Tickets at the farm store.
Good to know
Closed Mondays. Maze Tuesday-Thursday 10am-5pm, Friday-Saturday 10am-7pm, Sunday 11am-4pm. No lights in the maze. May close for heavy rain or mud.
