About this event
The Mile High Tree is a 110-foot conical light structure on the Tivoli Quad at Auraria Campus, 10 feet taller than the tallest Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in history and wrapped in 60,000 LED lights. Light-and-music shows set to a rotating mix of holiday songs start every 15 minutes, up to 140 guests can stand beneath the tree for an immersive view, and each evening about 600 drones fly holiday-themed shows over the skyline, with the Tivoli Quad among the prime viewing spots.
Our take: The Denver Christkindlmarket shares the Tivoli Quad for most of the tree's run, so pair a show with a lap of the market's German-style stalls.
