About this event

Discover San Pedro presents a Dia de los Muertos festival in Historic Downtown San Pedro, centered near 396 W 6th Street. Altars, live entertainment, Aztec and folklorico performances, local artists and vendors, food, a Catrina contest, and hands-on cultural activities fill the street. Organizers say thousands of visitors gather downtown for what they call one of the region's premier cultural events. The day is built for families as well as people coming to remember someone.

Our take: Get downtown before the evening performances if you want time at the altars and the Catrina contest without rushing the food vendors.
