LA Auto Show 2026

The LA Auto Show traces its roots to 1907, when it opened at Morley's Skating Rink as the first auto show on the West Coast, with 99 vehicles on display. It even survived a 1929 fire that destroyed the show, reopening a day later at the Shrine Auditorium, and it later grew into the expanded Los Angeles Convention Center. Visitors walk the floor among the next model year's vehicles, concept cars, mods and classics, sit inside new models, and take test drives and SUV thrill rides, with electric models front and center. The consumer-voted ZEVAS awards honor zero-emission vehicles.

Our take: Pair a day on the show floor with an evening at L.A. Zoo Lights, which runs select nights during the auto show.
