About this event
The Holiday Show of Hands Craft Fair is a long-running fundraiser put on by the parents and staff of St. John the Evangelist School in Carmichael, with proceeds going straight to classroom materials, curriculum and renovations. More than 150 crafters and artists bring handcrafted gifts, decor, collectibles and antiques, and with most vendors invited back each year and a couple dozen new spots opening, the mix stays fresh. Food and a popular silent auction round out the weekend.
Our take: Head over Friday evening while the crafters' tables are fullest, and leave time to place a bid in the silent auction.
