Holiday Food and Craft Fair (The Creative Space)

The Creative Space's annual Holiday Food and Craft Fair brings local makers and food vendors together at the Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation in Elk Grove, with booths set up both indoors and outdoors. Vendors must hold a seller's permit, and multi-level-marketing businesses aren't allowed, keeping the focus on independent sellers. The Creative Space is a Sacramento gathering place for businesses, creatives and hobbyists founded by sisters and Sacramento natives Remy and Jennifer, who host classes, pop-ups and marketplace events for local artisans, makers and bakers.

Our take: Go early in the four-hour window for the best pick of baked goods and handmade gifts.
