Big Fresno Fair

The Big Fresno Fair, run by the 21st District Agricultural Association at 1121 S. Chance Avenue, mixes a main carnival and Kiddie Land with concerts, grandstand entertainment, and a Midnight Manor haunted house. Grounds attractions sit beside a car show, beer and wine fest, Livin' Local Marketplace, Pop! Culture Experience, horse racing, and the Fresno Flea Market. Museums on the grounds include the Big Fresno Fair Museum, the Fresno County Historical Museum, and an Italian Heritage Museum exhibit. Competitive and livestock exhibits, a junior livestock auction, and an olive oil competition give the fair an agricultural core. The second floor of the Fresno County Historical Museum closes earlier than the rest of the museum spaces.

Our take: Choose a Saturday or Sunday if you want the main carnival and Kiddie Land open from morning, since midweek gates start later.
