About this event
The Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade turns Tempe Town Lake into one of the Valley's most magical holiday spots, drawing thousands to Tempe Beach Park for a family-friendly night of lights, music and holiday cheer. Before the boats set sail, the waterfront fills with a holiday market of local vendors, live entertainment, food trucks, beer and wine gardens, letters to Santa and photos with the big guy himself. The main event features vessels decked out in holiday lights, inflatable characters and creative themes, and the night closes with fireworks over the lake.
Our take: Take the Valley Metro light rail or streetcar, which stop near Tempe Beach Park, and pack a clear bag for entry.
Parking
Special event parking is available at select downtown garages and lots; the Valley Metro Light Rail and Streetcar stop near Tempe Beach Park.
