About this event

Tempe Festival of the Arts fills historic Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe with more than 350 artists from around the country, plus local music, a Kids Block, food trucks and beer and wine. One of the oldest festivals in the Southwest, it consistently ranks among the Top 100 Classic & Contemporary Craft Shows in the nation by Sunshine Artist magazine and has received the Pinnacle Award from the International Festival and Events Association. Each edition draws nearly 225,000 visitors over three days, and admission is free and dogs are welcome.

Our take: Skip the downtown hunt for a spot and ride light rail from a free Park-and-Ride lot to the 3rd & Mill entrance.

Parking

No parking inside the event perimeter. Accessible meters on 5th and 7th streets east of Mill; the Tempe Transportation Center is a block from the 5th Street entrance, and the Tempe Streetcar runs only between Dorsey and 9th Street during the festival.

Good to know

Fri–Sat 10am–5pm; Sun 10am–4pm. Free admission; dog friendly.
