About this event
The Mentone Fall Festival fills the historic Moon Lake Campus with art, music, food and mountain hospitality, bringing artists and vendors, live entertainment, food vendors and activities that celebrate the community's creative spirit. Sponsorships and other proceeds help fund renovations and improvements to the campus, which is home to artist studios, shops, galleries, community events and educational programs. Festival coordinator and artist Deedee Morrison calls it an important cultural and tourism event for the town.
Our take: Bring the kids to the Little River Arts Council's orange tent, where they can make a clay leaf or a shallow leaf bowl.
Parking
Look for parking signs on Ala. Hwy. 117; two parking areas are available for a $5 donation.
Good to know
Hours are 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Central. Admission is free.
