About this event
Matewan’s homecoming fall festival fills downtown Matewan with live entertainment, vendors, an annual car show, and a late-afternoon parade. Visitors are encouraged to browse local shops, museums, and restaurants alongside the festival blocks. Hatfield & McCoy airboat tours add an optional adventure nearby for travelers who want more than booths. Arrive before parade time if you want a curb spot without sprinting from vendor row.
Our take: Build the day around the 4 p.m. parade and use the morning for the car show registration window and museum stops.
