Rotary Lights

Rotary Lights fills Riverside Park in La Crosse with more than 3,000,000 lights at 410 Veteran Memorial Drive. Nearly 130,000 visitors a year drive, walk, or take a carriage ride through the display. Santa and a couple of reindeer meet children at the Santa House, s'mores are handed out every night near the giant snowman, and the Live Nativity, carriage rides, and hayrides appear on select nights. An ice rink opens when the weather allows. Roads are blocked so traffic enters from one direction; opening night adds a parade, ceremony, and fireworks.

Our take: Stop for s'mores by the giant snowman, and pick a carriage or hayride night if you want to see the lights outside the car.
