About this event
Every October, the Newfane Heritage Festival draws locals and visitors to 11 Church St in Newfane for a juried mix of artists and craftspeople, food, a Super Raffle, and live entertainment. Fall foliage on the village streets and hillsides, plus the smell of homemade apple pie and crisp, greets the several thousand people who treat it as a signature southeastern Vermont stop. The festival is entirely volunteer-run and rooted in the Newfane Congregational Church. More than 65 vendors sell arts, crafts, and specialty goods on the Commons. The outdoor food tent serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and apple pie by the slice or as a whole pie to take home.
Our take: Eat at the outdoor food tent and take a whole apple pie home if the slice line is long.

No dogs.
