About this event
The Downtown Norfolk Council's Grand Illumination Parade is a regional holiday tradition that draws thousands of spectators downtown for an evening of illuminated floats, balloons and performers. Each parade has a theme, and the current one, Ruby Radiance, invites participants to play with jewel tones, movement, texture and light.
Our take: Can't make it downtown? The council livestreamed last year's parade on its YouTube channel, so check there on parade night.
