Christmas in Middleburg Parade

Christmas in Middleburg is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven festival. The town pairs a mile-long Christmas parade on Washington Street with the Middleburg Hunt Review of mounted foxhunt riders and hounds. Also on the schedule are a tree lighting and carols behind the Middleburg Museum, Breakfast with Santa at Middleburg Charter School, a Kid's Zone of games with Foxcroft School at the Community Center, and a nativity pageant at Foxcroft with live animals and music. After the parade, the evening belongs to bistros, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, plus food trucks at the lots off South Liberty and North Pickering.

Our take: Ride the shuttle from Mickie Gordon Park if you are coming from the east, or from Lost Barrel Brewing if you are coming from the west, then stay for the restaurants after the parade.
