About this event
Snowbird's Oktoberfest has filled the resort's village in Little Cottonwood Canyon on weekends for more than five decades, turning Snowbird Center into a Bavarian village with traditional German food, live alpine entertainment and late-season mountain views. Expect brats, schnitzel, potato pancakes and Black Forest cake, more than 50 beers, alphorns and polka, and a vendor village called Der Marktplatz, with the resort's mountain rides running alongside.
Our take: Reserve a seat on Snowbird's free Oktoberfest shuttle from Sandy; resort parking fills quickly and canyon traffic backs up on festival weekends.

Resort parking fills on festival weekends and UDOT warns of significant delays on SR-210; Snowbird runs a free reservation-only shuttle between Sandy and the resort.
