About this event

Christmas Village lights downtown Ogden with cottages and holiday displays. Children can visit Santa, ride trains, see the displays, and watch a firework show. Opening day brings the Santa Run on Washington Boulevard, the Holiday Electric Light Parade from 22nd Street to 27th Street, a short ceremony on the amphitheater stage, fireworks, and the lights coming on. After opening day, Santa keeps castle hours, and Mrs. Claus leads daytime tours for preschool-age children by reservation.

Our take: Go on opening day if you want the Santa Run, the electric light parade, and the fireworks in one visit.

Parking

On-street parking around the park and a lot off 26th Street (Municipal Building lot, 2549 Washington Blvd). Dogs on a leash allowed; clean up after them.
