Texas Rockabilly Bash

Texas Rockabilly Bash bills itself as Texas' premiere Kustom Kulture and rockabilly music festival at Gillespie County Fairgrounds in Fredericksburg. The two-day gathering centers on a pre-1972 classic car and bike show with vintage trailers, vendors, camping, pin-stripe artists, a pin-up pageant, dirt drags, a burn-out contest, and live rockabilly bands that write and play their own music. Bianca Blaize emcees and Chantilly Lace hosts the pageant, which stays true to 1950s pin-up attire. Awards run from Best of Show and Best Kustom to Best Vintage Trailer and Proper Chopper. It is framed as a Texas-twist continuation of the AZ Rockabilly Show, aimed at family-friendly Americana of the 1950s.

Our take: Register the pre-1972 ride or grab a general-admission wristband that covers both days so you are not choosing only one gate time.
