About this event
The Guadalupe County Fair in Seguin traces its roots to 1859, when local farmers gathered on the town square to share livestock, crops and ideas; the Guadalupe Stock & Fair Association followed in 1883, and the first fair opened near the railroad depot in 1890. Fair week brings a PRCA rodeo, mutton bustin', a barbecue cookoff, livestock judging, a carnival midway, music and dancing, a wine tasting and a parade.
