About this event
The Grapevine Parade of Lights has rolled down Historic Main Street since 1979 and bills itself as the largest lighted Christmas parade in North Texas. The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce and the City of Grapevine produce it with support from Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, and festive floats, marching bands and Santa fill the route, with float winners named each year. The parade is one of the signature events in Grapevine, which the Texas State Senate designated the Christmas Capital of Texas in 2009 and which fills the season with lights, markets and drone shows.
Our take: Plan with the chamber's route and parking map, and arrive early enough to park and claim a curb spot.
Parking
Parking is free throughout Historic Main Street.
