About this event
Fiesta de Palmas fills the McAllen Convention Center grounds at 700 Convention Center Blvd. as a City of McAllen celebration of food, music, and cultural programming. A carnival brings more than 30 rides, games, and food vendors. A pumpkin patch adds games and pumpkin activities. Families can add photographs to a Dia de los Muertos community altar, including one for pets, walk the Hay There harvest display, and watch a school mariachi competition. EduFiesta adds STEAM exhibits.
Our take: Send a family photograph for the community altar if you want a Dia de los Muertos stop, and leave time for the pumpkin patch and the carnival.
