About this event
Tennessee State University's Homecoming, a tradition 99 years in the making, brings events to Nashville for students, alumni and families. The schedule includes the Gospel Explosion, the Miss & Mister TSU Coronation, the Homecoming Step Show, Roar on the Yard at Hale Stadium and the Charles Campbell Fish Fry on the President's Lawn. The Homecoming Parade brings alumni, students, organizations and the Nashville community along Jefferson Street to John A. Merritt and 33rd Avenue North, ahead of the football game against Morgan State at Nissan Stadium.
Our take: The parade starts promptly at 9 a.m. Saturday on Jefferson Street, hours before the 5:30 p.m. kickoff at Nissan Stadium.
