Hip Donelson Farmers Market

Hip Donelson Farmers Market opened mid-summer 2012 after volunteers answered a neighborhood request for a market of its own. It belongs to the TN Association of Farmers Markets and the Farmers Market Coalition. In 2018 it moved to the grounds of Two Rivers Mansion, and in 2023 it moved to Donelson Station at 2705 Lebanon Pike. It is producer-only, with vendors from within 150 miles of Donelson, and the produce was still growing in the fields earlier that day. Value-added and artisan goods are locally produced too. All-volunteer staff at the information booth help with SNAP token purchases and Hip Donelson gear. Market favorites include Hot Sauce Nashville, cherry tomatoes from Spring Oak Farm, and roasted figs from Gina's Italian Cuisine.
