About this event
Holiday Lights Spectacular is a walk-through of larger-than-life displays across 40 acres of Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, lit by more than three and a half million lights. The path is wheelchair accessible, and the zoo estimates about 1 to 1.5 hours once you are at the entrance. Holiday snacks include hot chocolate, s'mores, and sugar cookies, with hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, and fries if you want a fuller meal. The show runs rain or shine, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Our take: Budget 1 to 1.5 hours for the full walk and grab hot chocolate or s'mores along the way.
Parking
Nightly parking is first-come, first-served; extra street parking in Roger Williams Park; handicap spots in Lots A and B, with drop-off at the entrance if those are full. Only service dogs allowed. Traffic off I-95 Exit 16 northbound and Exit 17 southbound is heavy from 5 to 8 pm.

5:00-9:30 pm, rain or shine, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
